Getting closer...

Getting closer to what, I'm not sure. I guess we are getting closer to the end of the school year. Only two weeks left. Even though Frank leaves on the early (6 am) flight tomorrow and doesn't come home until Friday afternoon (I call these the "all 10" weeks, referring to the fact that I will do all 10 of the drop offs and pick ups this week) -- somehow it doesn't seem too overwhelming this week - maybe because there are not many left. Maybe because I have little to nothing to do at work these days - frees up my nights a little bit. Maybe because I am so tired of thinking about moving to Omaha - that it might be better to just go and do it.

We have the movers set to come on Monday, June16th to start the "pack and load" -- it will take them four days - they will drive our stuff to Omaha on Friday the 20th, but they won't deliver it to us at our Oma-house until Monday, June 23rd. Frank and I intend to make a list of all of the stuff that we won't want packed for that week -- it's crazy how much work it seems like we'll have to do even though the movers are technically doing "everything" -- we'll see.

In other (fun Omaha) news - we are gearing up for the Oma-hoedown! We are anticipating this to be our most "theme-driven" party yet! Costumes are not required, but Ellie WILL be wearing her new hot pink cowboy (cowgirl) boots -- we are looking forward to it - Maybe when we get to Omaha, we can throw a "chicago" party for you when you come to visit... :)
